COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills Application Form

1. Course Acceptance
a. Self-funded bookings will only be accepted if accompanied by full payment – please use our online payment system.
b. For module 1, when we receive your booking, a trainer will arrange to interview you. If you are offered a place and are self-funded, you then have 7 days to pay the full fee to secure your place.

2. Bookings funded by employers must be accompanied by the correct details (email included) for invoicing plus any Purchase Order details that may be required.

3. Applicants wishing to use the Part Time Fee Grant to cover some of the cost of the full Certificate must pay for Module 1 themselves, with the Fee Grant applied to subsequent Modules.

4. Our cancellation policy –
a. If you withdraw from the course, refunds are given as follows, depending on how much notice you give us:
• You receive a Full Refund of fees paid for future modules minus £50 administration fee if you give us more than 8 weeks’ notice before the module start date
• 50% Refund of fees paid for the next module and a full refund of fees paid for any subsequent modules when you give us 4 – 8 weeks’ notice before a module start date
• No refund of fees paid for the next module, but full refund of fees already paid for any subsequent modules when you give us less than 4 weeks’ notice before the next module’s start date
• If you fail a module and have already paid for future modules, we will refund the full payment made for future modules
b. Training is provisional on minimum numbers attending and we reserve the right to cancel if these numbers are not reached. In this case applicants can choose a full refund or transfer of fee to a future course.

5. Face to face courses are held in Rowan offices at 4 Kinnoull Street, Perth PH1 5EN, which are located on the second floor and there is no lift.

6. Online training sessions will use www.zoom.us, reliable and good quality free software. You will be able to see and interact with fellow participants throughout the sessions and split off into breakout rooms for skills practice and small group discussions. Rowan Consultancy cannot be held responsible or issue refunds for any difficulties with internet connection. Please ensure that you have:
• adequate broadband connection
• a webcam with microphone
• a speaker or headset
To make the most of the online experience, we recommend that you use a laptop or desktop computer so that you can have multiple windows open at the same time.

7. It is the applicant’s responsibility to inform us in advance of any special requirements so that we can try to accommodate them.
